Work starts on plans to regenerate Brighton city centre site

Work has begun this week on plans to regenerate the former fruit and veg market in Brighton’s Circus Street.

The project – which includes creating 140 homes, a new univeristy centre, office space and dance studio – will inject £200 million into the economy.

Demolition will be completed towards the end of this year and construction will start early in 2016.
