Free parking plans for Christmas in Brighton and Hove thrown out

Politicians have been labelled “scrooges” after failing to back Christmas free parking plans.

Conservative politicians claim the move in the run up to December 25 would give boost trade in Brighton and Hove.

But others disagree – claiming it would increase congestion and be a waste of money.
