It’s A Wonderful Life
The heart-warming story of idealist George Bailey (played energetically by Oliver Stoney) whose dreams appear to have been dashed by misfortune and small-town scandal. Christmas classic It’s a Wonderful Life is a festive favourite with this new production retold as a 1940s radio play with sound effects, audience participation and ‘sponsors commercials’.
Although not reinventing the show it’s a witty turn and the show benefits from a fast and lively script and excellent acting from a cast who leave you believing – it’s a wonderful life. The timeless classic will leave you with the feel good factor and early Yuletide yearning.
