Duran Duran

The band opened the show with a track from the new album ‘Paper Gods’ amid lightning sound effects and a thunderous reception from eagerly awaiting fans. Le Bon’s charismatic and energetic stage presence is still as marvellous as it was during his ’80s heyday. Old classics such as ‘Wild Boys’, ‘View To A Kill’ and ‘Notorious’ were interspersed with hits from Paper Gods including a surprising rendition of Grandmaster Flash’s ‘White lines’.
The new material is contemporary and stays loyal to Duran Duran’s electronic roots. Spectacular stage production coupled with a high energy performance.
