Pomegranate Restaurant owners left to pick up the pieces after fire

The owners of a city centre restaurant have been left picking up the pieces today after a fire tore through their premises.

Six fire crews attended the incident at the Pomegranate in Manchester Street yesterday afternoon.

The cause of the blaze is still being investigated but crews believe it was started by faulty electronics.

Speaking off camera, the owners of the middle eastern eatery told Latest TV they were heartbroken.
