Thousands Dying Every Year in East Sussex Because of Smoking

Around a thousand people are dying every year in East Sussex because of smoking.

That’s according to health experts in the county who are calling for residents to kick the habit in the new year.

2 out of 10 fourteen and fifteen year old’s either regularly or occasionally smoke.

Plans to ban smoking on Brighton Beach were scrapped earlier this month following a public consultation.
