Brighton Mainline: Commuters hit with more delays and fare rises

Commuters faced a double whammy on the trains this morning as they went back to work.

A one point one per cent rise in fares – and a 30 minute delay between Brighton and London.

A yearly ticket on Southern to London Victoria costs £4,108.

Meanwhile a ticket from Shoreham to London Bridge will cost £4,560

And a Thameslink yearly season to Farringdon is now almost £3,764

But is there anything that can be done about it?

Latest TV’s James Dunham reports.
