The Ugly Duckling

Finger and Thumb Theatre transformed the classic tale of the duckling who wasn’t like anyone else he came across, into an engaging visual stimulation for kids old and young. Drew Colby worked his magic using shadow puppetry as a way of making the tale accessible to children experiencing theatre for the first time, whilst using objects you would normally see at home (a colander for example) to create creatures like a turtle, a rabbit, cat and more. Penny Callow complimented him with cello playing. Using this and a small sound box, she created a magical atmosphere for all to enjoy.
