Brighton bar owner left tied up as thief makes off with more than £2,000
The owner of a Brighton bar was tied up before a thief made off with more than two thousand pounds from a safe.
Ed Heidon, who owns Brighton Rocks in Kemp Town, returned to his home above the pub in the early hours of Wednesday to find a man already on his premises.
The crook then tied him up before taking the money from a safe.
He also then stole a CCTV camera which recorded the incident.
The intruder is described as white, between 40 and 45 years old, 5ft 10in and wearing jeans with a dark hoodie.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
