Brighton Wheel is stripped down for a new year spring clean

One of Brighton’s most visible attractions has been stripped down in recent days.

The team at Brighton Wheel in Madeira Drive is giving the 50 metre tall landmark its annual refurbishment.

The pods have been removed as the attraction is inspected to make sure it is up to scratch for the tourist season.

The team is expecting to reopen on January 18.

It will come down completely in the spring when the rival i360 opens.
