Krater Comedy

Better looking than your average stand-up comic and funny too. Jimmy McGhie’s youthful cynicism about public school, hypocritical hippies and trendy brunches taking over from traditional greasy breakfasts hit the spot with the crowd. Edgier humour followed from grumpy middle-aged man Carey Marx who shocked and entertained from start to finish. The final act was 26 year old Chris Turner, whose freestyle raps were smart and hilarious. Compere Stephen Grant’s cheeky banter was as good as the acts, it was a great Friday night out and a very happy way to start the new year.
