Brighton’s i360 reaches another milestone – as pod nears completion

Today was a momentous day for Brighton’s i360 observation tower.

That’s because the final piece of the glass pod was lifted into place.

Contractors have spent the last month carrying out the painstaking work – but the final handmade section was lifted into place this afternoon

The £46 million pound attraction – which is known as the world’s first vertical cable car – is set to open in spring.
