Good interview, particularly about the Waterfront. The Regency Society held a meeting on 6.1.16 which raise the west/east travel problem from Southwick to the marina. Nick Lomax proposed a monorail, but I prefer a modern tram (Manchester style) sharing the south side of the A259 with other traffic, which would be cheaper, less intrusive, so quicker. It could go on Newhaven eventually.
Nick Lomax also suggested moving the Volks Railway to liberate the space there (blockage now he thinks). I agree. It has been suggested that it could be relocated to the Lawns down towards the Hove Lagoon. Nothing should be put in place that divides the sea from the city (which the Kingsway already does).
