Travels with my Aunt – Creative Cow
Henry Pulling, Graham Greene’s mild-mannered British banker (retired), grows up in fits and starts in the erratic company of his aunt. We never quite settle on who Henry might be, perhaps because he is played by all the members of this gifted cast: Richard Earl, David Partridge, Jack Holland and Katherine Senior (!). They also play his aunt and this passing around of the parts adds a slick pace to the essential narration that races us through continents and intrigues. A change of music, hats or spectacles indicates each different country, character or situation in this feast for the imagination.
