Homeless man found injured in Hove street has died

A man who was found lying in Hove’s Old Shoreham Road after being hit by a car has died.

The 54-year-old man was found near the junction with Benfield Way at 5.35am on April 12.

He was taken to Brighton’s Royal Sussex County Hospital with life threatening injuries but died on Thursday.

Police have formally identified him as Anthony Charles Parsons of no fixed address.
