Hove’s King Alfred to remain shut until May…at least

Hove’s King Alfred swimming pool will remain closed for at least another month.

The gym at the site in Kingsway re-opened last week.

However damage caused to the centre’s swimming pool by Storm Imogen in February is still to be repaired.

Bosses said the facility is now likely to only reopen in the middle of May – but only if the city has no further high winds or sustained rainfall.
