Brighton man knocked unconscious in street robbery
A man was knocked unconscious and robbed while walking home in Brighton.
The 35-year-old was attacked from behind near the junction of Hollingdean Road and Lewes Road between just after 10pm on April 14.
When he came round property had been stolen from his pockets, including a mobile phone and cash.
He later needed hospital treatment for a cut eye and leg injury.
Detective Constable Dan Aubrey-Smith, of Brighton and Hove CID, said: “Because he was struck down from behind and rendered unconscious, the victim has no knowledge of who attacked him.
“The attack happened in a busy area and there is a good chance that someone may have seen what happened or noticed people in the vicinity. Any information would be welcome.”
