Joe Foster and Sean McLoughlin Edinburgh Preview
Joe Foster opened what we were told was an unplanned work-in-progress, with the kind of sneaky warm up that left the audience in the palm of his hand. Joe’s relaxed and cynical set contained both top class gags, and some non-starters, which Joe was quick to recognise. Sean also presented the audience with a mixture of tight maniacal gags, expert call back, and some duds. Sean (along with Joe) connected with his audience on a level that allowed him to quickly recognise what works and what doesn’t. I would happily pay to see Joe and Sean at the Brighton and Edinburgh Fringes.
