Blue Plaque honouring Captain Theodore Wright

A Blue Plaque honoring the life of Captain Theodore Wright has been unveiled in Hove.

Captain Wright earned the Victoria Cross after being wounded by shrapnel whilst supervising the destruction of 8 bridges in Belgium during the first world war.

In 1914 he was killed assisting men to shelter in Vallily.

This week, his family gathered in Hove for the grand unveiling of his blue plaque.
