Brighton public reacts to dismantling of Brighton wheel
Now, work to dismantle the Brighton Wheel is really rattling along.
The attraction span for the last time on Sunday evening.
Since then workers have been at the site in Madeira Drive dismantling the wheel of excellence.
The parts are being loaded into large metal container trucks and being taken into storage.
It’s next location is still to be decided.
And earlier today we spoke to some locals about their views of the wheel coming down….
1 out of half a dozen will miss it, but agrees it should go. The rest just glad it going.
It’s like for 5 years, big brother has been peering through our windows, all while rotating on a pointless axis. Now gone, Brighton has their town back.
