Gordon Greer and Chris Hughton rue the loss of Dale Stephens
Tonight the seagulls face Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsbrough in the first of what they hope will be three massive games.
The big blow for the albion heading in to the first leg is that they will be without both defender Lewis Dunk and midfielder Dale Stephens.
Stephens had his appeal to see his red card against Middlesbrough overturned, much to the surprise of many at the club.
And Captain Gordon Greer and boss Chris Hughton have said that whilst they will be able to cover the midfield role they do feel for stephens who will miss out despite being a crucial figure in the squad this season.
