Worthing’s Matthew Daley found guilty of manslaughter of Don Lock on A24

A Worthing man has been found guilty of manslaughter of great grandfather Don Lock.

Matthew Daley stabbed the 79-year-old 39 times on the side of the A24 after a shunt between their cars in July last year.

The 35-year-old denied murder claiming diminished responsibility on the grounds of his mental health problems.
As the not guilty of murder charged was announced, the Lock family left the court room in tears.

The manslaughter verdict was then announced

Daley, of St Elmo Road, Worthing, will be sentenced in July.
