Bane 2
Joe Bone’s eponymous cinematic anti-hero is back, and he’s having a bad time. Building on the first instalment of ‘Bane’, our trigger-happy protagonist starts his day out of sorts when the squeeze is put on an old school friend to kill him. Bane’s a gun-for-hire and his current employer has rivals to run this city. From this point a quack shrink, bad dreams that lead to a worse reality, and a creature created by toxic waste all come together with gumshoe B-movie panache and trademark Bone humour and sharp delivery that have made the Bane-franchise a fringe must-see everywhere it goes. Utterly involving, edge-of-your-seat throughout. Long may Bane continue to survive – by the skin of his teeth.
