Plans to revamp Worthing town centre underway

Plans to revamp Worthing town centre are well underway.

Work costing one point two million pounds to improve Montague Street began earlier this month.

Located on the former site of the town’s bandstand, red brick paving is being laid and will be accompanied by covered seating.

Works should be completed next month – with further phases to pedestrianise Montague Place and repave the rest of Montague Street to follow.
