Protesters urged to ditch march and flock to Brighton’s Kemptown Carnival

Protesters are being urged to ditch their campaigns and join in the party this weekend.

Nationalist groups linked to March for England have said they are planning to protest through Brighton tomorrow.

A counter protest by anti-fascist groups has been organised in response.

Sussex Police has said it will have an increased presence to monitor the streets.

But those running the Keptown Carnival have urged people to join in festivities instead – with 25 thousand people expected to join in the fun tomorrow.
