Brighton cyclist in hospital after city centre collision; lorry driver arrested for drug driving
A cyclist is in hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a lorry in the centre of Brighton.
The incident took place at the junction of Elm Grove and Lewes Road on Saturday at about 1pm.
A 27-year-old cyclist from Brighton was taken by ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, where he remains in a serious condition.
Police said a 47-year-old man from Littlehampton was arrested on suspicion of drug driving. He has since been bailed.
