Trying to turn Labour heartlands green: a look ahead to the East Brighton by-election
On August 4, voters in East Brighton ward of Brighton and Hove will go to the polls to elect a new councillor.
The by-election has been called with the resignation of current Labour councillor Maggie Barradell.
Labour are hot favourites to win the battle.
But, in the latest of our features on the ward, the only woman standing – Mitch Alexander of the Greens – says she is up for the fight.
