A celebration of ABBA
There’s something about a summer’s evening that just seems right for a night of unabashed musical nostalgia; and the biggest ‘70s party ever is coming to the Congress this August, Dancing Queen the Concert at Eastbourne’s Congress Theatre on Saturday 13 August.
Dancing Queen the Concert is an action packed party show featuring over 2 hours of the greatest hits from the 1970’s. With a big dose of ABBA, Grease and more this is the ultimate nostalgia night!
Relive the nights when ABBA ruled the dance floor and experience the classic ‘70s era in all its glory. With full costumes and plenty of glitz, this is the golden age of pop revived!
Featuring all the Swedish super-group’s favourites including: Dancing Queen, Waterloo, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Knowing Me, Knowing You and Mamma Mia.
ABBA ruled the airwaves in the ‘70s and they continue to delight and amaze fans, with new generations discovering their music every day. They were, and always will be, the world’s favourite band, but they will never reunite to play live again – so the only way to hear the songs played live is with a tribute show and the Dancing Queen artists are among the very best working today.
All that plus a selection of favourite ‘70s hits such as Summer Nights, Car Wash, You’re The One That I Want, YMCA, Boogie Nights and Love is in the Air.
So don the make-up and hair gel, slick on the body glitter – or just come as you are to the biggest, brashest party in town with Dancing Queen the Concert! This is the perfect antidote to stress so boogie on down!
