Get into the groove

Never mind the views. We’ve been looking forward to seeing how local artists put their arty stamp on Brighton’s latest architectural icon. So top marksArty-i360-and-Sky-Fractal-3 to Tony Bowall – because we certainly didn’t see this coming. Best known for his photographs of Hove’s famous beach huts, Tony is now turning the clock back with his ‘Psychedelic Sussex’ project.
Using old computers and ancient, early ‘90s software, he creates ‘fractal’ images behind his photos of iconic landmarks, as can be seen here with the BA i360. Want more? Then take your sunglasses along to Baked café in Church Road, Hove, or meet him in person at the Brunswick Festival 20-21 August. Or just visit tonybowallphotography.com
