Krater Comedy Club

There’s a lot of cliches around comedy. You’ve got to laugh or else you’d cry, laughter is the best medicine, etc, etc. The truly funny thing about most cliches is that they are actually based on truisms.

No matter how much you’re struggling with in your daily life there’s something about live comedy that will lift your mood even, or especially, when it seems incredibly inappropriate. And so it was for me at the Krater Comedy Club at Komedia hosted by Steve Grant.

With the four comics exploring the entire field of inappropriateness from picking up rescue boyfriends in Wetherspoons to David Cameron’s porcine love life there was much to cringe at and plenty to induce panic that your middle aged bladder control was not up to the battle against the mirth. Highly recommended and great medicine in post-Brexit Britain.
