Continental Circus Berlin

Don’t expect a saucy Weimar-esque evening of Teutonic treats. Instead the evening is like a compilation of acts taken from Britain’s Got Talent. We have acrobats, jugglers, and the obligatory shirtless, strongman beefcake to precipitate Amanda Holden’s hot flushes. However with no Ant nor any Dec, there is little continuity or artistic cohesion. So each performer must make what they will of their 10-minute slot. Some rise and some sink, but luckily no-one fell as there was no safety net! Providing the literal highlight of the evening was Duo Lugo, whose techno laser light show was inventive and truly dazzling.
