Night Must Fall
A sleepy country house inhabited by a wheelchair-bound wealthy woman, her hired help, her long suffering, bored niece with her admirer/intending husband, becomes the subject of missing person investigation quickly evolving into a murder scene. This is a classic ‘whodunnit’ suspense ridden drama, superbly acted by Niamh McGrady (a style very much akin to a young Julie Andrews), Gwen Taylor, Daragh O’Malley, and a seductive, credible performance by Will Featherstone. It is a convincing and elaborate tale, which twists and turns, immersing the viewer as the plot thickens. This compelling, atmospheric and well-acted production in a simple and very effective setting is definitely one not to miss.
