Comedy music video filming with Ant Dewson
I do get some strange acting jobs and this week was no exception. I’ve been working on a music video for Comedy musician Ant Dewson. Ant has been on the comedy circuit for 7 years and often gigs in Brighton as well as all over the country.
I first met Ant when we gigged together about a year or so ago at the comedy night Silly Saturdays, which is twice a month at The Caroline of Brunswick in Brighton. His comedy song titles include ‘Easier To Be Faithful When You Are Ugly’ and being a huge fan of Carol Vorderman he has written a song of the same name.
I think you’re sexy when you take out the bins
Today we’ve been filming the video for his latest comedy song, ‘I Think You’re Sexy When You Take Out The Bins’.
It was the hottest day of the year and I was wearing Uggs, leggings and a cardigan! And quite honestly I’ll never look at taking the bins out in the same way ever again. But what a fun day of filming it was. I met some lovely people and I’m sure I lost a few pounds due to the heat.
Ant Dewson has been playing the piano for many years but he admits ‘Only Got To Grade 6’. But his comedy songs are so catchy, especially this latest one. When it’s been edited I’ll pop the link in my column and I bet you’ll all be whistling along.
