Comedy: Love & friendship
Love & friendship
Isy Suttie is best known to many as the love interest with more – Dobby, as frequently seen in the ever-popular Peep Show. Having already played through love on the small screen, this show from the much-lauded musical comedian brings our focus to matters of the heart once again.
Suttie suddenly finds herself a twentysomething adrift amongst a sea of her former friends, now ambushing her with their grown-up-ness.
And her dearest friend informing Suttie that her *next* boyfriend will be The Actual One. A terrifying prospect for our carefree adventurer.
Covering the onset of adulthood, a bet with her Mum, and actual love, this is set to continue the path of every preceding Suttie show mixing huge laughs with heartstrings tenderly plucked and a warmth stronger than 1980s Ready Brek.
This month’s Jo Neary & Friends is set to be a corker, mixing sketches, stand-up and oddities from Neary, Dyball & Kerr, and the fabulous George Egg. Book now. It’s only a fiver!
