Funny Girls

Julie Jepson’s recent takeover of Funny Girls gave this well established comedy night a new lease of life. Giving seasoned comedians a chance to try new material, as well as newcomers a chance to find their voice, Funny Girls really showcased vibrant variety and excitement to the evening. The guests this time were wonderful to watch. Charmaine Davies had bubbly energy, Katherine Atkinson brought a subtle undertone, Ali McFarlane brought class, Sarah Charsley brought her insecurities to life and Joanna Neary wowed us with new material to sink a battleship. This was entertaining and fantastic to watch.
