A variety of Steampunk treats to attend

The UK’s first steampunk bar, The Yellow Book has announced a very impressive entertainment lineup for the next few months. Regular events include a Games Night on Mondays, where you can play retro video games along with a wide variety of board and classic games. On Wednesdays there is a Fiendish Steampunk Quiz which they promise will educate as well as entertain and Laudanum & Lavender, a weekly spoken word/songwriter/open mic/poetry/unplugged night, every Thursday. Laudanum & Lavender is proving to be a very exciting concept as it encompasses art forms which can struggle to find an outlet. Amongst artists coming soon are Phil “Swill” Odgers, vocalist from well known band The Men They Couldn’t Hang, Victor and The Bully, Hobo Jones and The Junkyard Dogs, The Travelling Talesman and The Filthy Spectacula. Further acts will be announced shortly. Free entry will apply to many.
