London Fashion Week Trend Predictions

I know, I know – we’re all still waiting for summer 2016 to start, let alone looking ahead to what to wear next summer! However, getting an insight into next season’s trends can help you save money in the long run if you want to remain in vogue but on a budget. These trend predictions will help you be savvy in the sales and decide what to pass on or hang onto from your existing wardrobe…

Casual Glam
The luxe sporty look is set to continue with panels of mesh, metallic and bold colours such as cobalt blue and orange flashing through on side panels and from underneath. This goes for footwear too. Next season however, the sporty influence isn’t limited to athletic clothing styles, it peeps through on everyday dresses and glamorous evening wear too.

Print
Print is going to be in full force come springtime 2017. Animals we all commonly love, such as cats, horses, birds and dogs will emblazon our clothing for a fun twist with the likes of Topshop already showing some designs. Look out for these right now and in the sales in January. As well as animals, tribal prints, Aztec and tropical jungle themes will be popular, particularly leaf prints.

Colours
Burnt oranges, golden, yolky yellows and vibrant yet moody blues, turquoise and violet will be the order of the day which makes a refreshing change from the usual pastels. River Island, Zara and Next have a good selection of these hues at the moment so get head of the fashion pack and bag a bargain.
