MØ

MØ is a 28-year-old Danish singer/songwriter with a bold in-your-face style including quirky octopus dreadlocks. There is a keen pop sensibility at work, evident from her collaborations which have scored her top ten hits on both sides of the Atlantic. Her collection of electro-pop dance tunes all have slamming beats, rumbling bass lines, and catchy hook lines, making her output very commercial. With the overwhelming electronic production, there weren’t many quiet moments where we could appreciate the quality of her vocals. A born entertainer, she really throws herself into throwing shapes, and easily delighted a sold-out audience of fresh-faced freshers.
