The Elis James and John Robins Experience

Fans of the comedy duo’s podcast were in strong evidence, and although James warned those who hadn’t heard it would only get “30 per cent” of the show, the evening was marvellously inclusive to all – sharing the hilarity and a spirit of comic adventure.

A delightful labour of love shared between the fans and the stars, the show’s format lurched from format to topic to feature with the joy and grace of a child in a favourite adventure playground. All different flavours, and explored with abandon – with a warmth and genuine mutual affection. A great evening’s spying on – and joining in with – the cool kids’ fanboy and fangirl club.
