Oakley Residential’s Macmillan coffee morning is a great success
The Oakley team in Lewes were thrilled to join thousands of others around the country in their support of Macmillan Cancer Support. Oakley hosted a Macmillan coffee morning at their High Street office and raised over £180! Everything was home baked and there was a selection of treats including walnut & coffee cake, chocolate brownies, banana bread and even a Gluten free chocolate cake!
Director David Beaken commented: “It was amazing to see so many friends, colleagues and clients out to support the cause. To raise nearly £200 for Macmillan was amazing and I know it will be gratefully received.”
As well as coffee and lots of cake there was a raffle taking place with some fantastic prizes, including vouchers from the kind people at Lemongrass and Bill’s, along with a golf day at Goodwood donated by Oakley’s friends at Kew Electrical.
David continued: “This was a great way to catch up with people and raise money for a wonderful organisation at the same time. We will certainly be hosting again next year!”
