10 Years of Akala

This 10 year anniversary tour kicks off with a slick, professionally produced montage of politically charged media clips and Akala’s own evolution over the last decade. He takes to the stage with a barrage of top-quality, socially aware hip hop, spoken word and character pieces, mostly set to a video backdrop of his previous music videos, some (helpfully!) with the lyrics displayed, all staged with the skill and insight of a professional team. Tracks are challenging and politically controversial, but sensitive, and always with a message of hope to keep fighting the good fight. Akala is UK hip-hop’s national treasure.
