In front of a packed auction house with standing room only, Parsons Son & Basley’s November auction raised close to £3 million pounds worth of property sales whilst at the same time sold the entire 15 lots that were available providing a success rate of 100%. Auctioneer Simon Caplin said he was absolutely delighted with not only the success of this latest auction but the fact this was the second time this year their auction had completely sold out, and with some of the final selling prices comfortably exceeding the anticipated reserve figures by significant amounts.

A success rate of 92.6%

“We have enjoyed a record breaking year during 2016” explains Simon, “with over £19.5 million pounds worth of property transactions passing through our department already. With some of the sales agreed we have in hand still to exchange contracts before the end of the year, we are on target to reach £23 million which will be a truly magnificent achievement.”
