The 1970s legends, so inextricably linked with this time of year, may no longer have Noddy and Jim from the original line-up but Dave Hill and Don Powell, who have been playing together for an incredible 53 years, showed they can still rock. The two newest members, John and Mal, took on Noddy’s growly vocal style effectively but the stage belonged to flamboyant guitarist Hill, showing no effects from a recent stroke as he prowled the stage and led the crowd singalongs. Hit followed hit culminating with a sensational ‘Cum On Feel The Noize’ before they donned Santa hats for the perfect finale.
