Man hospitalised after stabbing in Hove
A man has been arrested after the stabbing of a man on Langdale Road, Hove.
The incident happened at around 1:30am on Saturday (January 28th). The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment after suffering multiple stab wounds.
Eyewitnesses have said the incident took place after an altercation at the Kariba Lodge hostel. A neighbour who saw the incident spoke to The Argus.
“The fire alarm went off and they rushed out on the street and went up the road. When one of them came back down the road there was blood coming from his side, I think he was stabbed with a knife”.
Neighbours on Langdale road have described the street as quiet and friendly – occupied by families with young children.
The Karba Lodge hostel was criticised by residents on the street following a spate of disturbances and drug problems. The hostel is run by Brighton and Hove City council, Councillor Tom Bewick said he was shocked and was raise concerns about the hostel.
