University of Sussex fighting cancer for World Cancer Day

Sussex scientists are tackling the disease.

The whole of Britain has been asked to unite for World Cancer day, in a bid to accelerate the fight against the destructive disease.

The ongoing support of the British people has led to a doubling of survival rates in the last 40 years.
Cancer Research has called for a show of solidarity and support by asking every Man, Woman, and Child to wear a unity band and donate!

Proceeds raised will go to funding hundreds of research projects, supporting the work of over 4000 scientists doctors nurses accross the UK.

We spoke to Sussex university scientists about their future plans.
