Simon Munnery: Standing Still

Simon Munnery is the kind of comedian who will sing an entire Billy Bragg song just so he can then sing a parody of that song he wrote twenty years ago and can only remember half the lyrics to. But of course the song was brilliant. The whole show was like that: a parade of visual gags, one liners, thoughts, and just things Munnery’s found that he’s interested in. It doesn’t make for the most cogent gigs but as always with this act he had so much invention and total confidence in what he did it didn’t matter a jot.
