An ‘Ocean of Hope’ for sufferers of Multiple Schlerosis

Sailor Robert Munns’ life was turned upside down in 2008 when he was diagnosed with Mulitple Sclerosis. However, the skipper wants to show others that there is a life after diagnosis, and launched the oceans of hope challenge as a way of demonstrating that dreams can still come true despite having a debilitating disease.

The challenge, which launched in 2016 and is returning this year, will see 65 adults from 15 countries with MS take to the seas on a week long voyage.

Our reporter William Ranieri spoke to Robert about the difference oceans of hope can make.
