Palisander

“Cult following,” chuckled Mr H. mischievously, as if to explain away the completely full church. He’s a chap of refined and discerning musical taste so it’s no wonder that he too enjoyed the exquisite programme of Renaissance and Baroque recorder pieces, lifted by a few more recent works. This quartet of thoroughly rehearsed and synchronised lasses, now well established on the Early Music circuit, play as if they are one instrument yet they manage much more variety with four pipes than most organists can with many. They must expect full houses every time they return to Brighton – make it soon!
