Foil, Arms and Hog: DoomDah-ish
Warm, welcoming, funny, and bright – there’s a reason that comedy sketch group Foil, Arms and Hog have been coming back to Brighton for seven years with ever-increasing popularity. The mix of familiar material and new served up a show perversely both fresh and polished – and all deeply enjoyable, blurring the lines between audience and performer from the off as the crowd warmed up and committed to the group as one with a simple delivery of an intro song. The show was peppered with audience involvement, whilst cleverly maintaining a high rate of laughs per minute. That’s tight unobtrusive comedy writing, with a flexibility only afforded by Foil, Arms and Hog’s highly trained funny bones and experience.
