Brighton public give their views on having more armed police on the streets
Extra armed officers continue to patrol Brighton and its surrounding areas in the wake of Monday night’s terror attacks in Manchester. The city’s key venues, as well as Brighton & Lewes Stations, are being given extra security as the fall out from the tragic events of Monday Evening continue to unfold.
urther patrols were seen at the Palace Pier and along Brighton seafront after Prime Minister Theresa May increased the nation’s terror threat from severe to critical – the highest alert level – meaning an attack is thought be imminent.
